HYDRON – Hydrogen Water System with Molecular Hydrogen H₂ and PEM Technology

HYDRON – Hydrogen-Rich Water Every Day

Water is an essential part of daily hydration, and modern technologies make it possible to enrich it with an additional component – dissolved molecular hydrogen (H₂).

HYDRON is a system designed to produce water enriched with molecular hydrogen immediately before consumption. Instead of storing pre-prepared hydrogen-rich water for extended periods, the system allows you to produce it at the moment you want to drink it.

This is particularly important because H₂ is a very small and volatile molecule that gradually escapes from the water after it has been produced.

How Does HYDRON Work?

At the heart of the system is PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) technology – a proton-exchange membrane used to generate and separate molecular hydrogen.

HYDRON does not use filter media or ceramic balls to produce H₂. Hydrogen is generated through an electrochemical process.

According to the manufacturer's technical information, the system is designed to prevent ozone and other undesirable oxidants generated during electrolysis from being present in the drinking water.

Why Is Molecular Hydrogen H₂ Attracting Scientific Interest?

Molecular hydrogen is one of the smallest molecules and has attracted considerable scientific interest in recent years.

Research is investigating its potential influence on processes related to:

  • oxidative stress and redox balance;
  • physical exercise and recovery;
  • cellular signalling mechanisms;
  • metabolic processes;
  • daily hydration and an active lifestyle.

Scientific research in this field is ongoing, and hydrogen-rich water is not a medicinal product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.

Continuous Production

One of HYDRON's main advantages is the way the system operates.

HYDRON produces hydrogen-rich water continuously and immediately when required, without the need for pre-production cycles or waiting periods typical of some portable devices.

This makes it suitable both for everyday household use and for locations with higher water consumption.

Two Installation Options

HYDRON offers different installation configurations depending on the available space and water system.

Under-Counter Installation

HYDRON can be combined with a reverse osmosis system and a suitable multi-way kitchen faucet. This allows the system to be discreetly integrated into the kitchen.

Countertop Installation

The system can be installed on a kitchen countertop and connected to a suitable water source or reverse osmosis system.

A configuration with a 3-litre glass bottle is also available. This option requires an electrical connection and suitably pre-treated water.

What Type of Water Should Be Used?

HYDRON is not designed to replace primary treatment of unsuitable tap water.

For optimal operation, the manufacturer recommends using suitably filtered water, reverse osmosis water, or water of comparable quality, in accordance with the system's technical requirements.

For this reason, the combination:

water purification → HYDRON → H₂ enrichment

provides a practical solution for creating a complete drinking-water system.

Who Is HYDRON Suitable For?

HYDRON is suitable for anyone looking for a continuous source of freshly produced hydrogen-rich water, without the need for single-use hydrogen tablets or repeatedly refilling small portable generators.

The system can be integrated into:

homes • offices • fitness and sports centres • SPA and wellness centres • professional practices • hotels • other professional facilities

HYDRON – Water Technology for a Modern Lifestyle

By combining PEM technology, continuous production, and the option of integration with reverse osmosis, HYDRON makes hydrogen-rich water an easily accessible part of everyday hydration.
